A founding-stage promise for how RORI receives ideas, separates roles and makes the terms of development legible before work begins.

Four distinct seats

No role is quietly
collapsed into another.

Holds the originating creative intent and the authority expressly reserved in the written project agreement.

Confirms the rights and commissioning authority they actually possess; does not absorb the creator seat by default.

Translates the approved intention across departments and keeps every craft answerable to it.

Owns the production plan, resources, approvals, risks and delivery record without silently rewriting creative authority.

Minimum commitments

Inquiry is not transfer.
A non-confidential inquiry transfers no ownership, licence, creative control or permission to use the material.
No silent training or reuse.
Project material will not be used for model training, portfolio reuse, unrelated generation or third-party processing without explicit written consent and an identified purpose.
Credit and compensation.
Authorship, billing, compensation, approval points and any contingent participation must be agreed before substantive development begins.
Rights stay legible.
Underlying rights, commissioned rights, derivative rights, territories, term and permitted reuse are recorded rather than implied.
Exit is designed in.
Retention, deletion, cancellation, asset handback, unfinished work and any rights reversion are agreed before the project depends on them.
Human authority remains named.
Approval gates identify the person or role empowered to accept, reject or redirect the work. Automation does not become the author by default.
