Readiness standard / version 1

Status is a
boundary.

Badges describe what can be defended now—not the size of the ambition. Every claim is limited by its scope, evidence and prerequisite.

Current

Current

A bounded workflow has an identified owner, a tested route and an accepted artifact. Current applies only to the stated scope; it is not a claim that every use case is production-ready.

Pilot

Pilot

A working route exists and can be used in a supervised, explicitly limited engagement. Known constraints and human review remain part of the operating condition.

In development

In development

The operating model and target artifact are defined, but the complete route has not yet met the Current or Pilot evidence threshold.

Roadmap

Roadmap

A planned capability with a stated direction, not an available service or delivery commitment.

Future

Future

A craft or capability RORI intends to integrate after authority, quality and production conditions have been designed and tested.

Evidence required

A badge needs
a record behind it.

01

Owner

The accountable human or team for the bounded workflow.

02

Tested route

The actual path exercised under stated operating conditions.

03

Accepted artifact

A concrete output that passed its named authority gate.

04

Limitation

What the evidence does not establish and where the route still fails.

05

Prerequisite

The infrastructure, licence, human review or permission needed to repeat it.

Founding-stage disclosure

RORI has Current, Pilot, In development and Future capabilities. Customer-controlled deployment is Current only where a specific installation has been validated against its written boundary; broader BYOC, sovereign and air-gapped profiles remain Pilot or Roadmap until separately evidenced.

These badges do not defer the Director-agreed launch scope. Before product release, every included core department and distinctive capability must operate through RORI’s own app/API and production workers: brief, execution, inspectable output, meaningful revision, appropriate review and downstream handoff with provenance. An unfinished chartered launch capability remains a product-release blocker unless the Director explicitly changes that scope.

A completed Project 001 film is a separate milestone, not proof that the studio product is ready. Private preview can continue while commissioning remains incomplete; final film approval and public/product release require separate Director decisions.
